Bohdan Tataryn is a student at the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music spending his summer break here in Richland Center staying with Mary Deckert who hosted Bohdan's mother as an exchange student in the past (See front page story in Richland Observer, July 27, 2023).   

100% of the free-will offerings will go to support Ukrainians in need through LWR (Lutheran World Relief).  LWR supports Ukrainian women and children refugees in Poland and also provides medical supplies, equipment and shelter for Ukrainians in Ukraine.   

Most of the pieces Bohdan will play for this benefit concert are by Ukrainian composers.  This is a special gift for us here in Richland Center to hear a very talented musician introduce us to Ukrainian classical music and also gives us an opportunity to support many Ukrainians in need.  Working together we can enjoy beautiful music and assist a young man from Ukraine support his homeland through his gift of music.
