THANKSGIVING NEWS! 

St. John's will be doing a modified Thanksgiving meal for Richland Center on Thanksgiving Day and we need your help. 

Nothing will take place at St. John's.  The meal will be by delivery or pick up only.  We are partnering with a local restaurant in a way that we intend to be a win-win-win event for Richland Center. 

+  People in need or who are lonely will receive a Thanksgiving meal. 

+  We will be helping a local business while at the same time using a space and method in which we need fewer volunteers in the kitchen and in contact with one another. 

+ We will be able to rally the community of Richland Center to come together at a time when so much is being cancelled and there is so much division.

UPDATE:  WE MET OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL!  PRAISE GOD!  THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED!             We need to raise at least $4000.  Pastor has already secured a $500 matching grant from ELCA Hunger and we are applying for the $250 Thrivent grant.  If you donated food in the previous years, please consider giving a cash donation this year.  If you do not want to use the link beow for the ELCA Hunger matching grant, please send your donations to the office and CLEARLY mark your offering for the THANKSGIVING MEAL.
